Loudoun Academy, Galston, use Poppyscotland resources to learn about remembrance.

In the lead up to Remembrance Day Loudoun Academy, Galston have successfully used Poppyscotland education resources to learn about the Poppy, war veterans and remembrance. Students have completed the Peace flag and Poppy product challenges, planted a Poppy remembrance garden and also learnt about Harry Patch.
History teacher Christy Stevenson says, “The kids got so much out of it. I am so pleased with their work.”
