The launch of 'Sowing the Poppy seed' has been a great success. The press call was held at Tynecastle High School on 10th September 2008. Pupils and teachers from Tynecastle High School in Edinburgh and Blackburn Primary School in West Lothian were able to see and use the new materials for the first time. The pupils also met Iraq veteran, Ben Shaw, who was recently blinded in conflict.

The launch was covered by the Edinburgh Evening News, The Scotsman, The Sun, TESS Scotland, BBC1 Scotland - Reporting Scotland, BBC Radio Scotland – Newsdrive and STV - Scotland Today
