Last year, to celebrate 90 years of the Poppy, Poppyscotland teamed up with the Glasgow City Council, Education Services initiative, ‘Determined to Make Movies’, to work in conjunction with our new film making competition, Moving Stories. The competition invited primary and secondary schools to create a short film that represented their thoughts on the theme ‘90 years of the poppy - then and now, 1921 – 2011.’
