How it works

The 1918 Poppy Pledge is a year-long campaign to honour every member of the Armed Forces who fought in The Great War and in the many conflicts since. As well as paying tribute to Britain’s bravest, we hope The 1918 Poppy Pledge will raise £500,000 to help us continue supporting the Armed Forces community living in Scotland today.

To make the campaign a success, we need you.

We are asking schools, groups, clubs, organisations and individuals around the country to step forward and take The 1918 Poppy Pledge. If you enlist for this special centenary campaign, your mission is to raise £1,918 over the course of this momentous year. Raising this amount would be such a fitting tribute to the thousands who lost their lives in WW1.

Rally the comrades. Go on manoeuvres. Feed the troops.

There are all sorts of fun ways that supporters can get involved. Why not rally the troops for a sponsored walk? Or you could host a 1918 themed fundraising party?

Our fundraising team will be on hand to support you throughout the year and to help you march to victory. Everything you raise will make a life-changing difference to ex-Service personnel today, who deserve our respect and support in their hour of need.
