This film is from the short series, And on we Fight, which was specially commissioned by STV in support of the 2010 Scottish Poppy Appeal, and kindly sponsored by the Scottish Sun newspaper.

This programme tells the story of Ian Forsyth, who was a 20-year-old radio operator when his tank convoy rumbled up to the gates of the notorious Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany, during the final days of the war in 1945. Ian explains that 65 years on the memories still haunt him today.
