McCarthy and Stone - Charity of the Year Relationship

Poppyscotland are proud to have been chosen as Charity of the Year by McCarthy and Stone along with our sister charity the Royal British Legion. Above Regional Managing Director of McCarthy and Stone, Steve Wiseman, can be seen visiting the Lady Haig Poppy Factory at our Edinburgh Headquarters and trying his hand at some poppy making along with the pupils of George Watson College.

McCarthy and Stone have pledged to raise £30,000 for the two veterans charities over the year long period. Their 12 Scottish locations will be hosting all sorts of events throughout the year in support of our cause; from coffee mornings to sing alongs the residents will been arranging fun activities to raise funds.
