250,000 Poppyscotland supporters and members of the Scottish public have been sent a small wooden cross in the post. The crosses which are returned to us will be used to create the Edinburgh Field of Remembrance.
In addition, there will be a special plot in the Edinburgh Field of Remembrance to honour the memory of those who have lost their lives serving in Afghanistan.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Edinburgh Field of Remembrance, located in Princes Street Gardens by the Scott Monument.
It will open on Monday, 5th November from 11am and will be be open daily between 8 am and 5pm during Poppy Week until Sunday, 11th November.
To receive a cross in the post next year for the 2013 Field of Remembrance, please add your name to our mailing list.
We are very sorry, but constraints on time and resources means we are not able to post out anymore Crosses this year and we are not able to take cross dedications over the phone.
