Scottish Poppy Appeal

Field of Remembrance

Following a massive response to this initiative in 2011 & 2012, Poppyscotland will once again use the Little Remembrance Cross mailing to create Fields of Remembrance to pay tribute to all those who have bravely served in our Armed Forces and those who are sadly no longer with us.

220,000 Poppyscotland supporters and members of the Scottish public have been sent a small wooden cross in the post. The crosses which are returned to us will be used to create Fields of Remembrance in Edinbugh and for this first time this year in Inverness.

In addition, there will be a special plot to honour the memory of those who have lost their lives serving in Afghanistan.

Everyone is welcome to visit the Fields of Remembrance, located in Princes Street Gardens by the Scott Monument in Edinburgh and in Cavell Gardens by the war memorial in Inverness.

It will open on Monday, 4th November from 8am until Monday, 11th November.

If you have not received a cross in the post but would like to mark your support of our Armed Forces or the memory of loved ones, friends or comrades you can:

To receive a cross in the post next year for the 2014 Field of Remembrance, please add your name to our mailing list.

We are very sorry, but constraints on time and resources means we are not able to post out anymore Crosses this year and we are not able to take cross dedications over the phone.
