bulletFAQs about Volunteering »
Poppyscotland relies on an army of thousands of volunteers to organise and help with Scottish Poppy Appeal collections across Scotland.

However, we need to recruit more people as many of our current volunteers are retiring from active duty every year.

Why not volunteer as an Area Organiser, Collector or Helper? An Area Organiser fulfils a critically important role co-ordinating collections in his her or her area and ensuring that poppies are available throughout the campaign. Volunteer Collectors may place poppies in outlets, at events, in workplaces, supermarkets and collect on the street and in their local area. A Helper may take on an administrative role or help in another way.

The position of Scottish Poppy Appeal Area Organiser for the following areas are currently available: Aberfoyle & Kinlochard. Anstruther, Brora, Cambusbarron, Camelon, Clydebank, Cowal Peninsula (Kilmun, Blairmore, Ardentinny, Strone, and Benmore), East Island (Orkney), Edinburgh (Marchmont), Edinburgh (Morningside), Falkirk, Forfar/Letham/Lunanhead, Glenlyon and Keltneyburn, Glasgow (City Centre), Glasgow (Clarkston Toll), Glasgow (Mount Florida), Glasgow (Summertson), Grangemouth, Laurencekirk, Larbert, Luss, Milnathort, Newtonhill, Old Kilpatrick, South Queensferry, St Andrews, Strathmiglo, Tummel Bridge, Winchburgh.
