Poppyscotland's first ever show garden at Scotland's national gardening event has scooped four awards, including the acclaimed Sunday Post People's Choice award. This is the first time that one show garden has won awards across the board.
During the show, which ends today, the public had the opportunity to vote for their favourite show garden in a poll run by the Sunday Post.
The Poppyscotland show garden was created to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Scottish Poppy Appeal and highlight the charity's ongoing work with veterans and their families. As well as the People's Choice award the garden has won Gold Medal, Best Floral Exhibit and Best New Floral Exhibitor.
Poppyscotland's Head of Fundraising Colin Flinn spoke of his delight: "We are honoured to win these prestigious awards and we are touched that the public chose our garden as the Sunday Post's People's Choice. It is a credit to the whole team who have worked tirelessly for months to create a stunning display that also reflects the work of our organisation in supporting Scotland's ex-Service community."
