Poppy Appeal

Scottish Poppy Appeal volunteers

Help us keep the Scottish Poppy Appeal growing.

If you are looking for an opportunity to meet new people and do something worthwhile then we’d love to hear from you.

The Scottish Poppy Appeal is our main fundraising event and is made possible by thousands of volunteers across Scotland.

However, we need to recruit more people as many of our current volunteers are retiring from active duty every year. Poppyscotland helps more and more of those most in need in the ex-Service community so we need your help more than ever.

Why not volunteer as a collector or helper? A volunteer collector may place poppies in outlets, at events, in workplaces, supermarkets and collect on the street and in their local area. A helper may take on an administrative role or help in another way.

The positions of Scottish Poppy Appeal Area Organiser for the following areas are currently vacant and we need to find volunteers to take on these key roles - Ayr, Bonhill, Camelon, Dunoon, Edinburgh (Craiglockhart), Edinburgh (Craigmillar), Edinburgh (Colinton), Edinburgh (Granton), Edinburgh (Gilmerton), Edinburgh (Leith), Edinburgh (Liberton), Edinburgh (Morningside), Edinburgh (New Town), Haddington, (City Centre), Glasgow (Giffnock), Glasgow (Govan), Glasgow (Shawlands), Glasgow (Springburn/Port Dundas), Inverkip, Tummel Bridge.

Volunteer today and make a real difference to the lives of veterans and their dependants in Scotland.
