Major Gifts, Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser
Glasgow or Edinburgh
Salary – £27,300 pro rata for 21 hours per week £16,380

Poppyscotland provides life-changing support to our Armed Forces community. We reach out to those who have served, those still serving, and their families. At times of crisis and need we offer them vital practical advice, assistance and funding.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for securing significant income through Major Gifts, Charitable Grants, Trusts, Foundations and Non-statutory Funding Bodies, to fund general and specific projects. Researching and identifying appropriate funders, whose criteria match our needs, preparing cases for support and submitting compelling written bids and complex grant applications as appropriate and building positive ongoing relationships to maximize the possibility of repeat grants. You will work with colleagues to identify priority work and develop a strong ‘Case for support’ along with timescales and detailed budgets. You will be responsible for ensuring grants are received, payment schedules are adhered to and timely reporting is actioned in order to keep funders informed of our work.

Bud Coordinator 
Based in Glasgow
Salary £23,000 per annum

Bud is a unique and ambitious project taking elements of Poppyscotland’s archive collection and highlights of Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory tour experience, interpretation and learning facilities on the road. Bud is a purpose-built vehicle which is free-to-access and accessible-to-all.  It will facilitate the delivery of lessons and activities related to the poppy, remembrance and veterans all across Scotland.  Bud will act as a legacy to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.

Role Purpose:
To coordinate the delivery of the Bud programme, planning and delivering a schedule of visits in line with defined objectives. The role will coordinate logistics, develop relationships with a range of local and national partners and ensure that Bud is promoted across new and existing audiences. The role may be expected to support the Learning and Outreach Officers on an ad-hoc basis. The role is based in Glasgow but some travel within Scotland and weekend work will be required.

Fundraising Assistant 
Based in Edinburgh
Salary £18,000 per annum

Role Purpose:

To contribute to the implementation and delivery of the Poppyscotland Fundraising Operational Plan by providing operational and administrative support to the Fundraising team and in particular to the Events and Regional Functions. The role will also require you to deliver an excellent supporter experience at each step of the supporter journey.
