Volunteer Development Officer (based Edinburgh or Glasgow travel across Scotland required)
Salary £25,000, 35 hours per week
Poppyscotland provides life-changing support for the Armed Forces community. We reach out to those who have served, those still serving, and their families at times of need by offering vital, practical advice, assistance and funding. The main funding for this support is achieved by the annual Scottish Poppy Appeal.
We are seeking to recruit a Volunteer Development Officer whose primary responsibility will be to recruit, develop and support volunteers across Scotland the majority of whom act as Area Organisers for the annual Scottish Poppy Appeal. Occasional travel and working outwith normal office hours may be required. You will have access to a Poppyscotland vehicle.

Moving Poppy Filmmaker
Poppyscotland wish to appoint a filmmaker to create Veterans’ Voices as part of the Moving Poppy project and a ‘making of’ film of the Moving Poppy. The concept of Veterans’ Voices is borne out of our successful film Veterans’ Stories.
The aim would be to provide a unique resource of high quality film archive of interviews with veterans living in Scotland who participated in military conflicts from 1939 to the present day. Our ambition is to capture these personal recollections so that their stories can live on.

Moving Poppy Branding Agency
Poppyscotland wish to appoint a branding or design agency to create a corporate identity and brand which will become synonymous with the Moving Poppy. The agency will be expected to work closely with the other consultants and staff developing the project. It is vital that the Moving Poppy branding has appeal to each of the defined target audiences.
The successful agency will also commission further research into the target audiences to inform the development of the Moving Poppy brand identity, testing out proposed concepts and identifying which will be the most appropriate in communicating the role of the Moving Poppy and what it represents.
The successful consultant will be familiar with heritage and community engagement projects and it would be beneficial to have experience working on Heritage Lottery Fund funded projects.

Moving Poppy Interpretation Consultant
Poppyscotland wish to appoint an Interpretation Consultant to work with us to develop, manage and deliver our Interpretation Plan for our exciting new Moving Poppy project. The consultant will be expected to work closely with the other consultants and staff developing the project.
The successful Interpretation Consultant will work to refine the Interpretation Plan for the project and help to appoint and manage Interpretation companies to fulfil the Interpretation Plan. The successful consultant will be expected to be familiar with heritage and community engagement projects, and the development of Interpretation Plans. The output will comprise delivering interpretation within and outside the vehicle which will become the Moving Poppy.
