Tailored support and funding

Tailored support and funding to individuals:

Simple solutions can make all the difference. For a variety of reasons these can be out of reach for many. We offer practical help.

We deliver tailored support and funding to members of the Armed Forces community through our Grants scheme. Our grants are wide-ranging and can cover areas such as home repairs or adaptations, replacement household goods and clothing.

Our grant giving criteria is deliberately broad as we want to help as many people as possible. Having made contact with Poppyscotland, we will then ask a SSAFA caseworker to meet you to guide you through the application process.

For more information call 0131 550 1557 or email GetHelp@poppyscotland.org.uk

Funding to organisations:

We believe in collaboration and therefore partnership working is central to what we do.  Poppyscotland provides funding to organisations that deliver specialist support to the Armed Forces community.

Support from other organisations:

Service-Related Hearing Loss:  The Veterans Hearing Fund (VHF) provides support to veterans who acquired hearing loss during Service.  It is open to those who have a well-being need that cannot be met through statutory services (such as the NHS). VHF may fund hearing aids, peripherals or therapies (e.g., lip reading).  More information is available from the Royal British Legion who administer the grant.
