Poppy Pledgers: We salute you!
We’re far from the only people taking The Poppy Pledge and challenging ourselves to raise £1,918. Here are just a couple of our extraordinary supporters taking The Pledge to honour the fallen and give hope to today’s ex-Servicemen and ex-Servicewomen.
Lornshill Academy S1 pupils take their Pledge
From sponsored hikes to a charity football match, bag packing and coffee mornings, every one of the S1 pupils at Lornshill is taking on a project to help raise funds for their Poppy Pledge. The whole school is buzzing with excitement. Good luck and thank you S1 Lornshill!
Paul and Suzi are crafting their Pledge
To honour relatives who served in both the First and Second World Wars, Paul and Suzi are designing and creating a range of Poppy ear rings, diffusers, ornaments and tealight holders from their wooden handcraft shop. All the profits are going to help achieve their Poppy Pledge.
A huge thank you to Paul, Suzi, the pupils at Lornshill Academy and all of our Poppy Pledgers!
If you’re feeling inspired to make your own Poppy Pledge and want to raise £1,918 between now and 11th November 2018 it’s not too late. Please visit www.poppypledge.org.uk or call 0131 550 1578 for more information – we’ll be there to support you all the way.
