It was with heavy hearts that Sir Tom Hunter and the Kiltwalk team announced the cancellation of the Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh Kiltwalks in 2020.
The decision was made to ensure the safety of walkers and everyone involved in Kiltwalk. The ongoing concerns over COVID and reduced hours of daylight in late September and October made it impossible to reschedule with any degree of certainty this year.
However, many Kiltwalkers from all over Scotland laced up their trainers and took part in the Virtual Kiltwalk Weekend of 11th -13th September. We would like to thank all our supporters for taking part.
There are no Kiltwalk dates for 2021, but will update these as soon as we have them.
Take your own walking challenge
Climb some munros, walk a Marathon (or a Half!), walk 5k a day for a month, there are so many possibilities.
Get in touch with one of our regional fundraisers and we can help you plan your own sponsored walking event to help raise vital funds for our Armed Forces community in Scotland using FundraiseForUs@poppyscotland.org.uk or by contacting your local fundraiser using the details at the bottom of the page.
