My Poppy Means

What does it mean to wear a poppy?

It means you remember our Armed Forces community.
It means you’re against them being disadvantaged when they return home. It means you want to help them and their families live full lives. It means you care.

It will also mean something very personal to you. Why not also share what your poppy means and be part of something big this Scottish Poppy Appeal. Simply tell us what #MyPoppyMeans and share it on social media.

Selfie booth & Poppy-Up Shops

From Monday 26th October we'll be at seven key train stations across Scotland with a selfie booth to encourage you to express what #MyPoppyMeans to you.
You can also visit some of our special Poppy-Up shops where you'll be able to take your selfie with our special #MyPoppyMeans back drop.

Our team will be armed with poppies at the stations and if you could spare a couple of minutes we would appreciate it if you could follow these four simple steps;

1. Pick up a poppy and wear it with pride.

2. Take a selfie or video of you wearing your poppy and tell Scotland what #MyPoppyMeans

3. Post your picture or video on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube using #MyPoppyMeans and we'll try to feature as many people as possible in our dedicated website gallery.

4. Donate like you mean it by texting Poppy to 70800 to give £3, go online at poppyscotland.org.uk or make a donation in a poppy tin.

The selfie booth locations and dates are listed below and we look forward to seeing you there!
