Charity partners

Three charities are the official partners of #iPlay4Peace in 2021.  Poppyscotland, Legion Scotland and the Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League.

We provide life-changing support to the Armed Forces community. Money raised from the Scottish Poppy Appeal and our year-round fundraising enables us to deliver support to members of the Armed Forces community in Scotland by providing tailored funding and assistance.

We also provide services in advice, employment, housing, mental health, mobility and respite.

Who we are

Legion Scotland

Legion Scotland is the largest ex-Service membership charity in Scotland working at the heart of the community, supporting veterans of all ages and from all conflicts. With more than 140 branches, 61 clubs and 23,000 members, they work in partnership with other organisations, providing veterans in the community with three key services covering remembrance, comradeship and befriending whilst supporting the welfare services and fundraising initiatives of Poppyscotland.

Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League (RCESL)

The remit of RCESL is to help ex-Service men and women who served The Crown and their widows who are now in need. Benevolence monies are dispensed to beneficiaries through a network of ex-Service Organisations across the Commonwealth with the aim of providing 2,400 calories, or 2 meals a day to each beneficiary, to ensure a healthy diet.
